Canton PeeWee Baseball
A Letter from the Commissioner:
Pee Wee Baseball is done for another year, but the memories are strong! As commissioner, I would like to thank our coaches, sponsors, parents and players for their commitment and dedication to our program. It's a mixture of all of the above that makes the baseball program what it is today. Is everything perfect? Absolutely not, but every year we continue to make the program a little better. I have all of the following to thank for this year's success. Be sure to extend a warm and sincere "Thank You" to the following sponsors and coaches when you see them.

Travel Teams
Both travel teams made a great showing! The players had an opportunity to play at the next level and put their skills and talents to the test. What great ball players they were - they never gave up until the last out was called. Canton was proud to have these teams represent Canton, NY.

Players: Jacob Corbine, Mike Couglar, Jacob Mattice, David Norman, Dylan Scanlon, Alden Slack, Avery Slack, Jonathan Stone - Subsitutes Zane Atchie, Tom Christy, Austin Cousineau, Brandon Cousineau, Cody Hazelton and Dustin LaValley.
I would also like to thank the boys that umpired this year: Tom Christy, Cody Hazelton, Jonathan Stone and Noah Writesel. These boys did a great job learning the fundamentals of umpiring. It's not an easy job for anyone, adult or kid, you make mistakes - they are only human. Overall, good job boys!
Thanks to Emily Stone who dedicated hours week after week to run the concession stand. This was one of her community service projects to Canton and the Pee Wee Association. She did a great job keeping everything stocked up and clean.
Lastly - I am looking for any pictures that a parent has taken during the ball season (regular or travel). I would like to put them on our webpage. If you are interested and willing to share, please e-mail them to me at sherry.stone@communitybankna.com.
Once again - "Thank You" to each and everyone of you! If I have missed anyone, I apologize. The smiles on the kids' faces when they play ball is priceless. Have a great year and hope to see everyone back next season!
Sincerely,
Sherry
